Speeding minibus

A speeding minibus slammed head on into a parked minibus last evening on Norton Street leaving several persons injured. In this photograph a public-spirited citizen assists in removing an injured person from the bus which ended up on its side. Stabroek News understands that the parked minibus was being washed when the speeding bus slammed into it. Several persons, including schoolchildren, were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital. Among them was one man with a gaping hole in his head and a female student in an unconscious condition.
