President Bharrat Jagdeo has proceeded on visits to Libya, Qatar and Greece following invitations extended to him.
The Government Informa-tion Agency said the President will be away until January 19. President Jagdeo is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Manniram Prashad, George Hallaq, Presidential envoy to the Middle East and Greece and President of the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana, Fazeel Ferouz.
Libya Mr Prez ? The fellas on that side of the globe don’t travel to Guyana, so you must be looking for a helping hand, or equipment for the security boys.
How do you know if Mr. Prez. has not been invited to Libya to update/brief de General on de MMA Agricultural Development/Cooperation Program that was started (and supported by Libya) during L. F. S Burnham Administration!!! Who knows if de money for de (Suez like) canal’s to drain de water into the Atlantic Ocean might not follow de Mr. Prez. after he returns.

My friend me na know squat,since them fellas don’t tell awee wa them talk about,all me a do is speculate. If dah water flows into de Atlantic as you said after his return to Guyana,then some of his supporters may be correct when they say the man is a Guyanese God.May de other God bless him and all Guyanese.

this man is on a joy ride every few weeks, and no wonder why nothing is functioning properly.
He is insignificant compare with other leaders yet he is on tour most of the time, and there are crises on hand that are just ignore.
Jagdeo total travel expenses should be tabled in Parliament for perusal by that body. A freedom of Information act will force him to do exactly that. He is out of Guyana quite frequently. He is travelling while there is a flood crisis. Is he leaving his begging cup behind in Guyana?
He is promoting tourism.Tourism out of Guyana.
I really believe that Libya and Greece has an “interest” in Guyana South America.

What Mr. President will get or learn from these countries?
Libya – Once exported terrorism
Qatar – will import some sand
Greece – will import sponge
It is a waste of money to visit these countries. He needs to visit the countries like, South Korea, India, China, USA who can help and move Guyana in next generation.

well i hope the president’s visit is fruitful, we can surely do with some more fuel(oil)throw in some guns and heavy weapons for our arm forces too to patrol our borders, our neigbours are getting a little too cocky.
I hope he took a large begging bowl and a big suitcase!
