Jamaican rapist jailed

An illegal immigrant who raped a woman twice after escaping from holding cells at London’s Heathrow Airport has been jailed indefinitely in the UK.

Jamaican Bruce Gaynor, 32, was branded a danger to women following a campaign of “sustained cruelty” against his victim.

London’s Blackfriars Crown Court heard that the injuries left her permanently bald and disfigured.

Gaynor was deported in 2006 following the violent attacks but in August 2007 he attempted to re-enter Britain on a false passport and was held by immigration officers.
But, the court heard, he ran away from the high security area in Heathrow’s Terminal 3.
