Nursery school has no playground

Dear Editor,
It’s a shame that the President Jagdeo-led regime talks about developments for youths when  they seem to have little regard for even our young ones. Nursery school pupils at the Roxanne Burnham Nursery have to learn under inhumane circumstances.
There are bushes all around the compound, no proper playground, nothing.

I wonder whether those in office would ever allow their children to attend that particular school?
With all of this, the government spent over $200M for events and lighting at the National Stadium. It’s time that President Jagdeo and his ministers got their act together before it’s too late. We at the Benschop Foundation are prepared to build a decent playground at the nursery school in question.
Yours faithfully,
Mark Benschop
