Our MPs should recommit to ending domestic violence at the end of every parliamentary session

Dear Editor,

To listen, to read, to see, to admire, and to ramble is most gratifying. According to Prime News, the word is ‘excreated’ not ‘excreted.’ Goodbye, Bushisms, welcome Guyisms.

The goodly gentleman from Kaietuer News, tells us that the Leviathan is a creature from Greek mythology. He should retract that statement and recheck his source(s). According to Jewish mythology, the Leviathan is a biblical creature that became ruler of the oceans. The first Book of Enoch (Ch 60:7-9), describes the creature as a female master of the seas: (Source: Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1980 edition, Volumes III and VI).

The big city clean-up is on. Check the drains by the GPHC on Middle Street and those of upper Regent Street.

We beat them; we maim them, we force them to ingest poison; we kill them – it is a national disgrace.

During the Punic Wars 264-241 bc; 218-201 bc and 149-146 bc, Roman senators concluded their senate presentation by uttering the words: “Carthage must be destroyed.”  In order, therefore, to show our outrage at the incessant violence against our women and children, our Parliamentarians should, at the end of each parliamentary session, re-affirm their commitment to ending the violence against our women and children.

Herewith ends my ramblings.

Yours faithfully,
C.S. Vaughn MSM
