Dear Editor,

I do support the views of Mr Norton who alleged fraud in the elections for chairman of the Georgetown District. It is true that during the ballot for the chair and vice-chair some members were given more than one ballot paper while others recognizing these corrupt activities decided to express their concerns by using the microphone, and behold, other members forcefully took the microphone away.  There were many other issues that plagued those elections on Sunday, June 28, 2009, that would have caused party members and supporters to leave Congress Place that very minute.

The heckling continued whenever an observation was made by persons who recognized irregularities. Persons became so angry because of the many interruptions from concerned members who saw flaws in the process and a problem of transparency.  However, the election results were blessed by the leader, Mr Corbin, who has presided over the party for more than six years.

However, I have one question for the members, supporters and well-wishers of the PNCR to think about:  What would be the result for the PNCR when our long-standing and committed members are cut out of the decision-making process of the party? Since the very existence of the PNCR is at the behest of Mr Corbin, then let us agree to change its name to CNCR (Corbin’s National Congress Reform).

Yours faithfully,
(Name and address provided)
