We regret that the letter captioned ‘What are the Saturday hours for post offices?’ published in our edition yesterday appeared without the accompanying editor’s note.
The note read as follows:
“We have been advised by the GPO that the hours for all post offices on Saturdays are 7 am to 11 am. However, on the cut-off days for payment to GT&T, notices are posted in the main branch extending the hours there to 1 pm to facilitate customers wishing to pay their telephone bills.”
