Congratulations to Ms Boyd

Dear Editor,

Now that the much hyped Cellink Jingle and Song Competition has concluded and Ms Boyd was announced the winner, I would like to congratulate  her on her achievement. I do hope that she goes on to represent GT&T and herself well.

Ms Boyd has been consistent since the beginning of the event; sure, she did not shine at every show, but the fact remains that she was consistent and had one of the best performances for each show.

Mr Burnett has a smooth voice and I sure do hope that better things are in store for him. I wish Mr Thompson best of luck in his future endeavours as his talent can take him places. The other contestants did their best and should not too feel bad in any way as it was a keen competition. They were a few contestants I wanted to see as finalists, but then again there were only ten spaces. However, I would encourage them not to give up and to re-apply next year, as most of them were very talented, especially Ms Hicks, Mr Cox and of course Ms Da Silva, who I think performed very well.

In conclusion I would like  to ask Ms Boyd to please enjoy her reign and to always remember to be a good ambassador for this nation wherever she goes.

Yours faithfully,
M Jones
