Les Paul could make a guitar do almost anything

Dear Editor,
Another great soul in the music word has passed on at a ripe old age – Les Paul.
Les Paul was the man who could have made a guitar do almost anything.

He played with his wife Mary Ford, who was a singer, and together they made beautiful music. When I was boy growing up in Georgetown listening to the radio and Jack Kashmer or Ed Fung or Lilian Fraser said the next selection is by Les Paul and Mary Ford, I would stop to listen. Now I treasure my LPs by the two of them.
There will never be another Les Paul.
Yours faithfully,
W.P George
