Stealing cell-phone credit

Dear Editor,

Cell-phone manufacturers should devise a way to avoid cell-phone users from transferring cash from the cell phones of others to theirs. Some people would twaddle or talk nonsense until the cash balance is expired, then they would pilfer cash out of the phones of others to replenish theirs.

The person whose cash was stolen should report the matter to the police and state the amount of cash transferred, their phone number and the phone number of the thief, so that an investigation could begin.

Should they be found guilty a penalty should be imposed.

Yours faithfully,
George Carrington
