PSC to host development meet on Friday

The Police Sports Club (PSC) will be hosting a development meet on behalf of the Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) for Junior and Senior athletes on Friday at the Eve Leary Sports Complex ground, Kingston.

Even though there is still some bit of rainfall, a scheduled 10am start is expected for the meet which will include all field events and track events starting from 60m.

A maximum of three events per athlete is allowed with a registration fee of $100 per event.
Clubs and athletes interested in participating in the event can contact Lydon Wilson on Tel. No. 615 – 2374.
This is the second of three scheduled development meets on the association’s calendar of events for 2009. A similar meet was slated for the Mackenzie Sports Complex ground, Linden on February 7, but it was not contested. The third and final development meet is scheduled for February 21 at the Enmore Community Centre ground, East Coast Demerara.
