- Dwayne Dick earns  Best Individual Player Award

Dwayne Dick copped the Best Individual Player Award as he led his Natural Sciences team in the inaugural Farfan and Mendes Inter-Faculty Table Tennis Tournament which took place in the Cafeteria Building at the University of Guyana, Turkeyen Campus.
The tournament which began on February 2 lasted just under two weeks with the Faculty of Technology starting as favourites. Natural Sciences, however, defeated the Faculty of Technology in the final in a play off after being deadlocked at two games each with one game remaining.

They ended up victors in  the tournament in the final game where Dick defeated Technology’s Raphael Walker in the final showdown. At hand to witness the action was Farfan & Mendes representative Dellon Josiah who also presented the prizes to the various winners at the conclusion of the tourney.
