DCB/Gafoors 20/20 to resume today

The Demerara Cricket Board (DCB)/Gafoors sponsored 20/20 round robin first division cricket competition will resume today with six round six matches in the two zones  from 14:00 hrs.

Zone A action will see Mavericks opposing Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) at DCC, Police playing host to Nandy Park at Eve Leary and Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) and Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) clashing at MSC. East Coast drew the bye for this round.

In Zone B, New Line Aqua Farm will host Guyana Defence Force at Canal Number Two, University of Guyana (UG) and Lusignan will clash at Lusignan, while Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) and Transport Sports Club (TSC) will clash at the Everest Cricket Club ground.

The Competitions Committee of the DCB is advising the players involved in the GCC/TSC match that if it is not played today at the Everest ground which may be hosting a Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/Scotiabank Kiddies cricket session, it will  bowl off tomorrow at the same venue.

All balls being used by the clubs in this competition will be provided by the DCB who is reminding the clubs to submit their match reports no later than 72 hours after the completion of each match. Failure to do so can result in points gained being disregarded.
