Jardine, Arno for T/dad world title fight

International boxing referee/judge Eion Jardine will leave Guyana this morning for Trinidad and Tobago where he will officiate in the world title fight between Trinidadian Lisa `Bad News’ Brown and Maribel Santana of the Dominican Republic.

The fight will take place at the Jean Pierre Sports Complex tomorrow night and the boxers will fight for the vacant Women’s International Boxing Association (WIBA) super bantamweight title.

The bout however is subject to the approval/change of the boxing commission.

Jardine will be accompanied by international boxing judge Trevor Arno.

Brown has victories over Guyanese female boxers Shondell Alfred and Stephanie ` Razor’ George.
