FIFA international referee Stanley Lancaster and assistants Venton Mars and Selwyn Blair left Guyana yesterday for Trinidad & Tobago where they will be the officials in charge of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Championship Cup Match between W. Connection and Center Bath Estate.

The game will be played today at a venue to be announced.
Meanwhile, the National Referees Committee (NRC) of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) will be conducting a Beginners Referee Course for Berbice referees on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March  at the Blairmont Community Center Ground, West Coast Berbice.

The course will commence at 09:00 hrs each day  with a Fitness Run to be held at the same venue commencing at 06:00 hrs for the Berbicians on Sunday. Persons desirous of becoming a referee can contact course instructor Lawrence Griffith on telephone numbers 621- 6986 or 681-1187.

A similar beginners course will be held in Georgetown on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April at Carifesta Sports Complex, Thomas Lands.  Once again, anyone desirous of becoming a referee can contact Griffith for further information.
