The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) has nominated its President, Troy Mendonca, for the position of 1st Vice President at the upcoming Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Annual General Meeting and elections.
Mendonca’s recommendation comes on the heels of the same move by the Guyana Football Referees Council (GFRC) which has nominated their President Alfred King for the post.

Presently, Winston Calendar is serving as the 1st VP of the GFF but it is not yet known if he will be seeking re-election.

According to a GFA release, they have also nominated Aubrey Hutson; President of the East Demerara Football Association(EDFA) for the position of Treasurer and Vanessa Dickenson of the Women Football Association (WFA) as the Assistant Secretary GFF.

The GFF will be holding its AGM on April 25 at the Ocean View Hotel. There will be elections for three positions, namely 1st Vice President, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary.
