ST JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – West Indies selectors on Saturday announced a 15-man squad to contest the World Twenty20 Championships in England next month.

The team, which will be captained by Chris Gayle, sees the recall of Jamaican opener Xavier Marshall, who last played for West Indies in the first Test against England in the Caribbean in February.

SQUAD: Chris Gayle (captain), Denesh Ramdin (vice Captain), Lionel Baker, Sulieman Benn, David Bernard Jr., Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Fidel Edwards, Andre Fletcher, Xavier Marshall, Kieron Pollard, Darren Sammy, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Lendl Simmons, Jerome Taylor.
