National champion Norman Madhoo dominated the recently-held National Darts Association (NDA) organized Central Veterinary Clinic darts tournament held last Friday at the Salt Air Sports Club.

Madhoo proved to all and sundry why he is the national champion when he won the Open Singles and Draw Doubles category of the event.

In the Open singles competition, he stopped Vibert Yearwood to advance to the final where he defeated Wilfred Jagnaraine who had earlier defeated Anil Latchman to advance.

In the Draw Doubles event, Madhoo teamed up with Sherwin Greene and they aggregated 12 points to defeat Latchman and Sudesh Fitzgerald who could only manage eight points.
