Wednesday is International Challenge Day

The National Sports Commission is appealing to all Guyanese to get involved in this year International Challenge Day Activities across the country.

Millions of people around the World will simultaneously be participating in physical exercises to keep fit and live a healthy lifestyle.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport will be organizing activities along with National Sports Associations and other Mass Organizations around the country.

The Guyana National Stadium at Providence will be the main venue.
Hundreds of participants are expected to be at the Stadium to participate in the third annual Challenge Day activities.
According to the National Sports Commission (NSC) several disciplines will perform at the Stadium.

There will be an impressive opening ceremony with the Honourable Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Dr Frank Anthony giving brief remarks.
The entire gathering will participate in  15 minutes of physical exercises.
