Former President of  Fruta Conquerors Football Club, Sheldon Braithwaite donated a set of football equipment and gears to the club when he paid them a visit on Tuesday at the Tucville Playfield.

The New York-based Guyanese who is home on vacation said that he has been following  the progress of the club, particularly among its youths, and he is so impressed that he wants to help in their development.

He also stated that this form of support will be regularly undertaken and soon he will be teaming up with other overseas- based Guyanese to take the club to another level.

Support for continued infrastructure development, establishing relationships with professional leagues and clubs around the world and scholarships for players are also planned for the club.
