The Guyana Squash Association has named 14 players to contest the team events at next month’s Junior Squash Championships to be held in Barbados.

The tournament will run from July 15-20.

The players selected for the championships are as follows: (Girls)

Gabrielle Fraser, Akeila Wiltshire, Victoria Arjoon, Mary Fung-A-Fat, Ashley Khalil, Kayla Jeffrey and Keisha Jeffrey.

The boys selected are: Nyron Joseph, Ryan DaSilva, Steven Xavier, Jason Ray Khalil, Deje Dias, Alex Arjoon and Raphael deGroot.

Taylor Fernandes, Larissa Wiltshire, Jean Claude Jeffrey, Ashley deGroot, Alysa Xavier and Daina King will compete in the singles competition.

Meanwhile, the GSA has informed the Caribbean Squash Association of its interest in hosting this year’s Senior Caribbean Squash Championships given the current situation in Trinidad. They are awaiting a response.
