The Police Progressive Youth Club (PPYC) will be hosting the Christopher Hall Classic Track Meet today at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary beginning at 10 am.

Two categories will comprise the competition, Male and Female Under-18 and Open. Under-18 competitors will have the choice of 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m metres and Shot Put.
Open athletes will have the choice of the above events and also the 1500m, 4×100m and 4×400m events while Under-18 teams can also enter the open relays.
A registration fee of $300 will be charged for an athlete to compete in any number of events.

Several novelty races will also be available for spectators such as three legged race, cricket-ball throw and sack race while a gate prize is also up for grabs, the draw will be 3pm.

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers of the events, all medals and prizes are sponsored by Christopher Hall’s father, Raymond Hall.
