Now is the perfect opportunity for WICB to say thank you and goodbye to all of the boycotters…wipe the slate clean and start with a new team under signed five year contracts with all of the same terms, conditions and rates of pay etc that the WICB had offered to the last team. Simple…Also WICB should publish what are the terms etc under which the current team is playing…is it word-of-mouth or have they all signed contracts?

What are the dispute between the WICB and the players ? remuneration or contract. From what I read on cricinfo and other section of the electronic media it appears as though there is a dispute due to the nonexistence of a contract between employer/employee. It is not normal to be employed or do business without a contract, thus the players may be on solid ground. But the players must remember that for fair pay and perks they should performed to set standards and expectations. They are professionals and should perform as such, unfortunately they don’t.

Apart from ‘TIGER’ who else deserve a pay raise on the WI team,with the kind of result they have been giving for the last ten yrs most of them deserve a pay cut.And they have the audacity to boycott the game.Imagine if i’m to underperform at my job for a yr, i’m looking to get the boot not a pay raise.
