However, Hi-Stars prolific goal scorer Tony ‘Spirit’ Adams  equalized in the 72nd.

His strike was a relief for Hi- Stars after they were brought down to ten men due to a red card which was handed to their defender Kennard Simon in the 28th minute by referee Rollin Tappin for serious foul play.

The draw gave Hi-Stars three points from as many games while Vasco got two points from the same number of games.

In the feature game, Netrockers aided by some poor officiating came from three nil down to beat Coomacka United 4-3.

Wheatin Thom netted for Coomacka in the 5th and 18th minute while his teammate Quasi Patrick scored in the 12th minute.

Netrockers responded through Culric Beckles in the 39th and 62nd minutes, Deshwan Joseph in the 54th and Orandy Wills in the 90th minute.

Beckles’ last goal and Wills’ strike were deemed controversial as the men were clearly in an offside position but  the linesman failed to raise his flag and referee Franklyn Bristol had no choice but to allow them.
Netrockers now have three points from three games while Coomacka have one point from two games.

Play continues  Thursday at the Bayrock ground with Netrockers coming up against Peacemakers in the lone game of the day from 16:00 hours.
