The race, which was organized by the Flying Ace Cycle Club of Berbice, started in front of the company’s location at Main and Trinity Streets, New Amsterdam, proceeded to the toll gate at Corriverton and ended at the starting point.

Reece covered the distance in a time of one hour 45 minutes to beat Nayin Hasnoo and Dwayne Edwards into second and third place respectively.

Rohan Persaud, Michael Moore and Ashraf Alli occupied the next three places.
Morika Dicka was the lone female and quite naturally carted off the first female finisher prize while 74-year-old Edward Williams received a special prize for completing 20 miles.

The event was organized by Randolph Roberts coach of the Flying Ace club.
