Rookie race car driver Vinu Sawh has received a well-timed boost from the Auto Toy Store on Sheriff Street ahead of Round Two of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) national Race of Champions meet tomorrow. Managing Director of the Store Abbas Farouk this week handed over an undisclosed amount of sponsorship to Sawh to aid in his bid to claim the rookie category.

Sawh, who drives a Toyota Starlet, said that at the last meet, he was unable to make the run because of problems to his vehicle.

However, with the support from the Auto Toy Store, he is aiming to make up for missing out with a win he declared.

Farouk added that he is an ardent race fan and was always willing to lend his support in whatever way possible.
