Action packed quarterfinal card on tonight

All semi-finalist will be decided tonight when the remaining eight teams collide in the quarter-final round of Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCY&SC)/Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Guinness Futsal Competition while the Media team will be facing off against the Ministry’s team what is expected to be a intriguing battle.

Renault Fraser’s Santos Football Team meets the Fruta Conquerors in the first of the four tournament matches.

Conquerors’ uprights will be guarded by the well composed Oswald Cornette and they will also be stern on attack and defense with Jomo Hinds and Gerald Grittens while Omali Nassay along with Fraser will be leading the way for Santos.

ele who has played stunning Futsal since the commencement of the competition will be facing off against the determined Sunburst Camptown team who seem to take a little time to grove into their attacking stride in the second tourney battle.

BK International Western Tigers and the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will challenge Uprising and Flamingo for spots in the final knockout stage of the tournament.

None of the four teams will be a push over since all matches they played against previous opponents, were won by comfortable margins.

Devon Millington’s Tigers team will match skills with Uprising in the third quarter-final match while he lethal Leon Yaw will be leading the way for Flamingo against the GDF team in the final match of the night.

Meanwhile, spectators will be treated to four exhibition matches, Upper Level versus Clippers in Barbershop battle, North East Ruimveldt meets Tiger Bay, Referees challenge New GPC and the Media team will be opposed by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
