Bakewell’s General Manager Rajin Ganga yesterday handed a cheque for an undisclosed sum to Aubrey ‘Shanghai’ Major and stated that the contribution stems from the long-standing relationship between his entity and the Kashif and Shanghai organization.

He also noted that they see it as very important to give back to the Linden community which has been supporting them well over the years.

Already lending support to the event over the past week have been Church’s Chicken and Bill Express. The event will see some of the country’s top cyclists battling for lucrative incentives and trophies.
