The Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (GABBFF) announced yesterday that their senior national championships will be held on September 20 at the National Cultural Centre.

athletes to represent Guyana at the International Bodybuilding Federation (IBBF) Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships scheduled for September 30 – October 4 in St. Georges, Grenada.

To ensure the highest possible standards in judging and in the quality of athletes competing at the national level, the Executive Committee of the GABBFF will be hosting their General Meeting on August 23 to review and approve the new Constitution.

This new Constitution seeks to address inter alia eligibility criteria for progressing from the Novice stage, to the Intermediate stage, and finally to the senior stage of the sport in Guyana.

Also on the agenda is a Judge’s Seminar on August 30 which will target new and existing judges wishing to upgrade their skills and to learn the latest rules and regulations of bodybuilding.
