The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) 2009 Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Cellink Plus Premier League resumes tonight with the first double header of the second round at the Tucville Playfield.

Third place holders Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will go head to head with Flamingo, who is last in the points standing with two points, in the curtain raiser at 6 pm while Pele (7 points) will battle with BK International Western Tigers (5 points) in the feature match at 8pm. On Sunday, the competition continues with the three-time defending champions and last year’s runner up Alpha United (21 points) and Sunburst Camptown (18 points) doing battle with Fruta Conquerors and the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) respectively.
The unbeaten Alpha United squad meets the homesters, FC, in the feature match while Camptown and GFC will contest the curtain raiser.

The points standing at the end of the second round is Alpha United - 21, Sunburst Camptown - 18, GDF – 15, Fruta Conquerors - 10, Pele – 7, Western Tigers – 5, GFC - 2 and Flamingo – 2.
