BK International keeps promise to Western Tigers

BK International head Brian Tiwari yesterday delivered on the company’s  promise to  Western Tigers Football Club by  handing over $500,000 to the club as sponsorship funding.

Tiwari after adopting the club in 2007 had pledged to pump half a million dollars quarterly towards their development.

The club which was relegated to first division rank that year responded by soundly winning that league, playing undefeated in the process and was subsequently given back their premier league status.

At a simple but significant ceremony the company’s General Secretary Raj Singh said that they are impressed with the discipline and commitment shown by the club and urged them to continue along that path.

Singh reaffirmed the company’s  support for the future and also encouraged them to strive for greater heights.

Tigers’ Public Relations Officer Brentnol Bourne expressed the club’s profound gratitude and their commitment to continue working hard.

The presentation yesterday marks the second this year from the company.
