Richardson helps RailHawks rout Miami FC 9-0

CARY, North Carolina, CMC – The dynamic Guyanese forward Gregory `Jackie Chan’ Richardson registered a goal and two assists for Carolina RailHawks to clobber Miami FC Blues 9-0 in their United Soccer Leagues (USL) first- division match on Wednesday night.

The Zimbabwe-born Joseph Kabwe scored a hat-trick while the RailHawks delighted a small gathering of — less than 1600 – fans at the their home WakeMed Soccer Park by scoring five goals in a 14-minute blitz to sink Miami toward the end of the first half.

Richardson, enjoying his first USL season, got his goal in the 43rd minute, bringing the score to 4-0 after strikes by Daniel Paladini (30th), John Cunliffe (36th) and Andriy Budnyy (40th).

Latching onto a bad back pass, Richardson moved toward goal and beat Patrick Hannigan in Miami’s goal.
Richardson then set up Kabwe for goals in the 44th and 76th and the African completed his three-goal outing in the 80th minute, beating the off-side trap to score easily for a 7-0 lead.

Sierra Leone-born Sallieu Bundu then scored in the 85th and 87th to complete a lopsided match that pushed the RailHawks up to 48 points and second spot in the USL-2 standings behind Portland Timbers (51).
