Usual suspects fill Sri Lanka squad for tri-series

COLOMBO, (Reuters) – Sri Lanka have named a  predictable 16-man squad for the one-day international  tri-series with New Zealand and India being played over the  next eight days.

A media release yesterday confirmed a list of players  already selected for the Champions Trophy in South Africa  starting later this month, along with leg spinner Malinga  Bandara.

The four-game 50-over tournament starts today when Sri  Lanka take-on New Zealand and concludes on Sept 14.
Sri Lanka squad:

Kumar Sangakkara (captain), Muttiah Muralitharan, Sanath  Jayasuriya, Mahela Jayawardene, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul  Tharanga, Thilan Samaraweera, Chamara Kapugedera, Thilina  Kandamby, Angelo Mathews, Dammika Prasad, Ajantha Mendis,  Lasith Malinga, Thilan Thushara, Nuwan Kulasekera, Malinga  Bandara.
