With the Guyana Open just two months away, the Lusignan Golf Club will host its Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) Medal Play Golf tournament today to help fine-tune the local golfers’ preparations.

Secretary of the Lusignan Golf Club, Ronald Bulkan disclosed that over 30 golfers will be vying for top honours in the tournament as the players always look forward to competing in the annual GBTI competition while adding that the course is in excellent condition so the scores should be exceptional
Among the players listed to compete are Carlos Adams; winner of last weekend’s tournament, Patrick Prashad; Jerome Khan; female golf sensation, Christine Suhkram; Monuff Arjune; Maurice Solomon; Ian Gouveia; Alfred Mentore; Gavin Todd; Dr. Ram Singh; Mark Lashley; Colin Ming; Mel Sankies; Imran Khan; Mike Mangal; Mike Gayadin; Brian Hackett, William Walker and Melissa Humphrey.

A representative of GBTI is expected to attend and assist in the presentation of prizes and tee-off time is 13:00 hours.
