Local veterans to play warm-up game today

- preparing for T&T match-up

Twenty-five over-40 players have been short-listed to play against the visiting over-40 football team from Trinidad, Point Fortin Civic Center Old Boys, and in an effort to fine tune their preparation they would be coming up against an over-35 selection today at the GFC Ground.

Former national player and captain Terrence Archer will lead the team with Anthony Williams as head coach and Earl O’Neal as his assistant while Michael Pierre would stand in as manager.

The over-35 selection will include Anthony Stanton, Terrence ‘Old Head’ Lewis, Bryan ‘Joe Boy’ Joseph, Rawle Jones, Terrence Wills , Ron Austin, Lyndon Boston, Cary Jacques, Hartley Price, Shawn ‘Berbician’ Daniels and Troy ‘Jack’ Hermanstein.

The squad is as follows: Andrew Bright, Joylon Lewis, Wayne Peters, Gavin Gibbons, Mark Williams, Brian Thompson, Ronald Barker, Julian James, Sham Johnny, Eyon Wills, Mark Cox, Gordon Brathwaite, Shawn Nedd, Terrence Plummer, Garfield Shepherd, Marlon Washington, Clive Perry, Stanford Miller, Kevin Walcott, Nicky Thompson, Frank Parris, Terrence Archer, Hector Forte, Dallas Sharples and Eddison Carroll.

Players are asked to report to the GFC Ground for 6 pm sharp and are all asked to wear a white shirt.
