The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) organized showdown commences at 8pm while a Western Union First Division match kicking off at 6pm between Santos and Riddim Squad will precede the Premier League match.

Alpha United and Pele engaged battle last Friday and the match was blown off before the scheduled 90 minutes because of a controversial goal being scored by Alpha.

Since no firm decision could be made by the referees from the evidence they had on if the goal had indeed been scored legally the match was ruled as abandoned.

When the league continued on Wednesday night, Camptown moved back up to second after a one – nil victory over BK International Western Tigers while Pele crushed the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) 4 – 0.

Telston McKinnon’s first half goal which was scored as early as the fourth minute was the decider for the match, helping his team up to 28 points and remaining with a slim lead on third place holders.
GFC were overpowered in every aspect of their battle against Pele as the eventual victor was led by a Marvin Joseph hat-trick.

Joseph scored in the 18th, 46th and 88th minutes while receiving support from O’Kenny Fraser who scored in the 49th minute.
