The Guyana Karate Federation will today stage its 2009 seniors karate championship at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
The event, which begins at 1pm, will also involve karate displays and demonstration from different karate styles.
Karatekas from the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF), the Guyana Wado Ryu Karate Association (GWKA), the Japan Karate Association/World Federation – Guyana (JKA/WF -G) and the Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF) will be participating. The tournament has been sponsored by the National Sports Commission.
