The Flying Stars Cycle Club will run off the Victor Macedo Memorial cycle road race today.

The race is expected to get underway at 7.30am with a rolling start outside of the late Macedo’s Queenstown home before proceeding to the Pump Station on Vlissengen Road (Seawall).

Veteran cyclists will turn back at Mahaica while seniors and juniors will turn back at the Half Way Tree, East Coast Demerara.

The first six seniors, first three juniors, first three under-45 and first two over 50 cyclists will receive prizes.

Additionally there will be six prime prizes at stake.

Last year’s winner was Tyrone Hamilton.
