GT&T onboard with GHB indoor Open tournament

The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T) has continued its support of the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) annual Open indoor Hockey tournament which will get underway on October 19 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Allison Parker, GT&T’s Marketing Assistant handed over the sponsorship cheque of an undisclosed amount to the GHB’s Assistant Secretary/Treasurer Trisha Fiedtkou yesterday.

Parker said that her company has been supporting the tournament for the past eight years which was mainly because it was their opinion that the GHB was one of the better organized sport associations in Guyana.

Fiedtkou thanked GT&T for its support and stated that the tournament was  seen as very important as it gave the respective clubs a chance to properly prepare for the annual Diamond Mineral Water International Indoor hockey tournament.
