Joseph Chin emerged the winner of the Spads Inc. Cup sponsored two-day handgun tournament held recently at the Timehri Rifle Ranges.
In second place was Yohan Da Silva while Ryan Mc Kinnon was third.

At the end of the first day Mohammed Qualander led from Da Silva and David Dharry respectively.
But Chin rebounded on the second day to take the win amidst light showers.
The event was held under the auspices of the Guyana National Rifle Association (GNRA) and contested under the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) rules.

Meanwhile according to a press release the IPSC has recently approved handgun shooters participating in international competitions.
This approval also enables members to gain access to highly qualified trainers and to

participate in competitions regionally and further afield.
In addition to  increasing the sponsorship for this tournament Spads Inc has committed to hosting the tournament  annually.
