Guyana ‘s world medal winning Banks Beer will team up with local ace driver Andrew King and leading Group 2 ‘B’ contender Gavin Gouveia for the Caribbean Motor Racing championships at the South Dakota Circuit, Timehri on Sunday.

King, one of the top motor racers in the region will be representing Team Guyana in the Group 4 category in the third leg of the Caribbean series.
He received a cheque for $500,000, while Gouveia was presented with a cheque for $200,000.
Banks DIH Ltd. Marketing Executive Carlton Joao in making the presentation yesterday said that the cars of King and Gouveia will be powered by Banks Beer.
“We have come out in support of these two leading racers, King and Gouveia because we are confident that they will make Guyana proud just like our Banks Beer – Our Country, Our Life, Our Beer,” said Joao.

Joao, reminded consumers to drink responsibly and to have a designated driver on race day.
Banks Beer is produced, bottled and exported by local beverage giants Banks DIH Ltd.
Also present at the presentations were Banks Beer Brand Manager, Brian Choo Hen, Tropical Mist Brand Manager, Errol Nelson and Troy Peters, Communications Manager.




Kudos to Banks DIH for getting back into sponsoring motor racing, i remember the days when DIH was one of the front running sponsors.
They have chosen 2 excellent drivers to sponsor, I`m sure Andrew & Gavin will do DIH proud.
