Director of Operations at Church’s, Gregory De Gannes, handed over an undisclosed sum  that will be used for general sponsorship to the Directors of the organization, Aubrey ‘Shanghai’ Major and Kashif Muhammad, who were both present at Church’s Chicken yesterday.

“It’s always an honour for Church’s Chicken to be associated with the Kashif and Shanghai football event. We are even more elated that they are going to be celebrating their twentieth anniversary and ‘the King’ (Pele) will be here,” DeGannes said.

Added to that De Gannes stated that they are not only involved in sponsorship but also provide great tasting foods at the events at the stadium and they do whatever they can to facilitate sports in the country. In Major’s brief remarks on behalf of the organization he said, “We would like to thank Church’s for coming onboard at this crucial time, since the King Pele will be coming and this is the time that we think the sponsors are really needed.”
In closing, Major noted that Church’s will be the only chicken franchise present at the stadium and they would like to make it a success.
