Former president of Riddim Squad Football Club, Eton Cordis has slapped the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), Fruta Conquerors Football Club and the National Milling Company (NAMILCO) with a lawsuit in excess of $1,000, 000.

The lawsuit comes in the wake of injuries sustained by Cordis who was stabbed at the Tucville Playfield on October 23 during a football match between Riddim Squad and Pele in a tournament run off by Fruta Conquerors FC.

The writ issued by Cordis’ lawyer, was addressed to GFF’s general secretary Noel Adonis,  Fruta Conquerors’ secretary, Lavern Fraser-Thomas, and  the secretary of NAMILCO, informing that Cordis was suing for damages and loss suffered by negligence of the said parties.
