Banks DIH Masters presentation ceremony this afternoon

The presentation of prizes to the winners of the Banks DIH Masters Invitational eight category lawn tennis tournament will take place this afternoon at the Le Meridian Pegasus Hotel.

The tournament climaxed on Sunday at the hotel’s courts with Phillip Squires and Shelly Daly-Ramdyhan winning the men and women’s singles events.

In the men’s singles final, Squires scored a straight sets 6-4,6-3 win

Shelly Daly-Ramdyhan

over Ezra Sue Ho in a repeat of the Pegasus Hotel Open tournament held a few weeks earlier while Daly Ramdyhan was taken to three sets by Carol Humphrey before winning 7-6 (5) 6-7 (4) 6-2.

At the presentation ceremony this evening the GLTA president Christopher Ram is expected to reveal some of the association’s plans for the new year.
