The GRA came up with the VAT which collected its fair share and more from the poor and struggling but did it collect its fair share from the wealthy?

The GRA’s intensified efforts will result in more revenues from the drug economy but when will they take steps to prosecute persons of dubious wealth in Guyana.

The first change the GRA should and must implement is a new congestion free location and building for motor licensing.

Who at GRA have time and money to waste? in meetings, to finalized changing the designation(s) of commissioner and deputy commissioner to head and deputy head. How a change in designation improve efficiency and services to tax payers?. I suspect this is a move whereby the Commissioner General (who behaves like a dictator instead of a state employee) do not want any other person to have the designation of commissioner and not an implementation for improvement.

While I won’t consider this to be ‘tax reform’, I sure welcome the changes and hope that it results in better efficiency and lower costs for the GRA.
