Parasurama Rabindranauth, who was sought over the shooting of a man in the US and then attempted to flee to Guyana, has confessed to the murder which occurred over a piece of real estate and money spent on it, US reports say.

Parasurama Rabindranauth
The 26-year-old man was nabbed at the Miami airport on Wednesday as he tried to flee the country on a flight to Guyana.
Media reports said that the police were looking for the man since last Saturday over the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Michael Sembhudyal following an argument in the kitchen of Sembhudyal’s home.
According to police, Sembhudyal was the cousin of Rabindranauth’s ex-girlfriend.
After his arrest, Rabindranauth reportedly confessed to detectives that he shot Sembhudyal, a Wash-ington Hill resident who had moved to Waterbury two years ago.
Reports are that Rabindranauth, a Guyanese citizen living in the country legally for the past 10 years, dated Sembhudyal’s cousin for six years. The two eventually split up, which led to an ongoing dispute.
On the night of the murder he argued with his ex-girlfriend and her cousin, who were living at a three-family home over a piece of real estate and money that had been spent on it.
The reports said that according to assessor’s records, the homes of Rabindranauth and Sembhudyal are both owned by Khemraj Ramlal.
He argued with the two on the phone and at about 10:30 pm he visited the home and was let inside to continue the argument. That altercation escalated and eventually turned deadly when Rabindranauth fatally shot Sembhudyal once in the chest, police said.
Police are still searching for the handgun used to kill Sembhudyal.
Following the shooting, Rabindranauth drove to Naugtauck, where he ditched his SUV at a gas station and he then drove with a relative to Queens, New York and while there a cousin let him take a black Chevrolet Malibu.
From New York, he boarded a bus that eventually took him to Miami.
According to police, his getaway plan almost worked, but when he purchased a plane ticket for the flight, detectives were alerted and were waiting for him at the airport.

Good work in catching him, his cousins should also been charged for helping him flee, had he made it to guyana he would have been untouchable, and he may have become a businessman of great repute.
You said it!

Hello Guyana! Take note in America there is very little ability escape via backtrack. However, I will bloggers to asist in advocating that he gets some long time because he will soon go back to Guyana where he can continue with his criminal type hoop law with his friends.
I say it loud and clair all the time that there is a well organise band of criminals living with the money enging in Queens, New York and that Network of Bandits operate between Guyana, Queens, New York, and Miami, Florida. This is not speculation, just follow the recent drug bust and look the real estate business between Queens Miami and its connection to drugs. An eye opener for all!
This case says a lot about a group of Guyanese living and Laundering money from out of Guyana. There will be more like this to come….Not the age group and their family connection.
Happy New Years to Home Land Security and squeeze the juice out of Parasurama Rabindranauth, and I do hope you get the cousen too as an accessory to the fact or should we say aiding and abetting….good job Home Land Security..
will serve his time in US jail and then dumped in Guyana with his new found trade skills…look out Guyanese….
Good work. Now off to face the piper for this jerk.
“Keep it “LIT”
He’s stupid, I guess he lived in the US too long. He ain’t know that he could make contact wid some roadmen in GT to get some ID’s fuh he in another name and then scoot to GT safely? No way the US detectives coulda ketch he at Miami. Too late now…maybe if he get bail, then.
Home Land Security run things and if you are not doing you job. We drag you up for an investigation. And you know what next prison time or the you loose your contract with the Airport after an investigation.
Homeland Security run things here, and for all them GT who think them smart come through you would be suprise when you meet you own GT Caribbean brothers and Sisters pulling you in…all eyes open on the incoming and out going…site!
Hope that he’s neglected bail because he’d already tried to escape, pay for your act.
Stupid can hardly describe this person. He really thought he was smarter than the police. He probably think he was dealing with those inept people back in GT. Throw the law book at him and bury the keys after he is convicted.
I would give him the death penalty.
OK GOD!!
Look people give the guy a break, did you all expect him to know that he was dealing with a different set of people , he may have live here for ten or more years but still have the guyanese mentality witch is I can get away with anything , well not this time bro the only thing I am sorry for is that at the end of him sentance he will be send right back to guyana, that is sad.
True lol.
people like these dont need to send back to guyana
Please don’t send him back to guyana we need those kind of ppl out of guyana.
