The police have recovered an unlicensed firearm and a suspected stolen boat and engine following searches on the East Coast Demerara yesterday.
According to a press release, a 12-gauge shotgun was found in a building and two men were arrested. These men are currently in police custody assisting with the investigations.
Meanwhile, a 40 hp outboard motor engine, a quantity of seine and a 25’ fibre glass boat, which are all suspected to be stolen, were recovered at another building, the release added.
