it nothing new that some children begs their parent to stay home on their birthday; although it isn’t done much now as before. when it’s my daughters birthay, they dress nice ( shoes, ribbons or cloth) wear a crown or nice hair piece and on your way to school.

It is well for you guys to make fun of the situation at the Dianostic centres, but just imagine the frustration of the doctors there when a serious case comes to them, and they are feel so helpless because the hospital has nothing for the doctors to work with,in order to help the patients, and most of the times what is needed is never there, everything is always in short supply & doctors are expected to save lives, if you find that the patients are given panadol and injections everytime, well that is what the doctors have to work with and that is why there are always referrals to the Georgetown Hospital, one cannot expect doctors to perform adequately if they are given basket to fetch water, so to speak, and when comparsions are made between their country and the country where they were trained, where the tools were available to work with, then the thinking is, that I should have stayed there instead of returning to this God forsaken country,

yes it’s appalling that the child didn’t go to school because it’s her birthday but the more serious issue here is people running around committing these heinous acts of violence so freely!!! Guyanese in and out of Guyana have to force the gov’t to revamp the police force. like i said in other blogs and will keep saying… Guyanese in America and Canada should form some group and picket the embassy/consulate in those countries.

And whats so wrong in granting your child one day on their birthday to stay home. My parents let me stay home when it was my birthday when I was younger and living in Guyana. It hasn’t ruined my life and my education had been completed. In regards to the shooting, how sick does someone have to be to just shoot a child?

Sandhurst one would think that your mind would would wonder why this mystery man shot a little girl in the neck for no apparent reason. Instead you start griping about the mother’s allegation of improper services at the hospital. As an old Investigator it seems to me there is more to this story than meets eye.
