At last we have a name. Alot more including the names of other high ranking gov’t officials are going to be named soon. This gov’t has destroyed morality, credibility of our country. This is a lawless society. No other country e.g Barbados wants nothing to do with Guyanese. As a once proud Guyanese, it angers me to the level that Guyana has suken to. Our leaders are a reflection of us. I am not proud to be a guyanese.

Hey Macky, you see that flag next to my name, it tells you that I live and work here and yes I have a car and drive most of the streets in Georgetown. I remember you said you would visit but that can’t be compared to me living here and experiencing what is happening here. Yes there are streets that are patched and done over but 2 days after is back to the “moon experience”. I am with the times because I have firsthand experience. You get what they want you to get or what you don’t wnat to get so that is your problem. We have old minibuses and we do have the loud music even though the police had been tought on the loud music for two mornings.

Don’t bundle me with PNC, I am not one of them and I am not PPP either. I am Guyanese and I want what is best for my country, I am not going to beg for an Old Glory to be tagged next to my name, my friend.

Many indo-guyanese are fleeing their homeland because the PPP has let them down but they should return to Guyana and help change the government . The present SHAME and SCANDAL is destroying the image of Guyana , internationally . President Jagdeo and his government is liken to drift-wood in a sea of despair . Guyana needs a government of Re-construction , eventhough , it will take many years for the Republic to develop to it’s fullest potentials . At present , there is a culture of corruption prevailing in Guyana and rather than the good guyanese remaining at home and help to stop the demise of their country – they are chosing to flee . Some mis-informed bloggers keep saying that guyanese built Barbados and now we are throwing them out , eventhough , our government has offered them an amnesty . Many bajans are returning home and helping to develop Barbados and the government is also offering incentives for them to do so . There are building homes , investing money and they are offering their skills and expertise to further develop the land of their birth .
Why can’t the government of Guyana encourage the guyanese living abroad to return and save their homeland . CORRUPTION and CRIME are destroying Guyana and the Brazilians and Venezuelians are waiting to take over the Republic of Guyana – Guyanese , at home and abroad , WAKE UP !!!!!

Where else in the world can you find a government attempting to forcefully take possession of a children’s playground with the intention of turning it into house lots for members of the ruling party?? Only in sad old miserable Guyana can things like this happen.

In Area Q Turkeyen, the community to the east of the CARICOM Complex, residents were extremely surprised and shocked when workers from the lands and survey department turned up one day and started driving markers into the playground. Upon inquiry, residents were told that the playfield area will be divided to create twelve house lots. Are these people for real? How can anyone look at a children’s playfield and think of coveting it for their personal use?? What kind of sick demented people do we have running our country?

This is nothing but a straight forward case of State bullyism, this shameless act must not be allowed to happen.

Join in this protest to save this playfield for the children of Turkeyen, Cummings Lodge, Pattensen and Lilliendaal.
