Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on Wednesday remanded to prison a man accused of robbery under arms.

It is alleged that on June 1, at Georgetown, Gordon Ross, being armed with a knife, robbed Michael James of one cell phone valued $95,000.

Ross was not required to plead to the indictable charge when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

The Police Prosecutor asked the court to apply the Administration of Justice Act and remand the accused.

Ross was ordered to appear in court on July 1 for statements.
